• How long is a session? Typically sessions last approximately 53 minutes to 1 hour. If you need special accommodations or extensions we are happy to discuss before beginning the session.

  • What should I expect on the first visit? Upon registration, you’ll have the option to complete a few forms in your very own client portal. Please complete the forms prior to your first appointment. Working at your pace, we’ll take some time to review your submissions together then begin outlining your objectives, identifying challenges, and establishing goals for the process.

  • Do you prescribe medication? No. I do have a list of trusted providers that I would recommend though (i.e. primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners).

  • Is everything I say confidential? All members of the American Counseling Association (ACA) subscribe to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice which require counselors to protect the confidentiality of their communications with clients. As a client, you are guaranteed the protection of confidentiality within the boundaries of the client/counselor relationship.  The law in the State of Kentucky provides exceptions to confidentiality, but even in these circumstances, you will be informed before confidential information is revealed whenever possible. Full disclosure of confidentiality terms can be located above in the forms section.

  • Do you perform assessments for court or testify? Neither Lifecrafters nor any of its agents offer these services. In the event of the issuance of a subpoena by a Court of competent jurisdiction or any document compelling appearance or testimony by Lifecrafters or its agents by any tribunal, Lifecrafters will assess a fee of $200 per hour for review and preparation, $250 per hour for testimony, as well as costs for any reasonable expenses incurred in furtherance of such testimony (including but not limited to a reasonable attorney fee). The compelling of any testimony relative to any facet of a client’s treatment shall be deemed as a solicitation of expert testimony.

  • Is there Cancellation Fees: If clients do not cancel a minimum of 24 hours prior to the beginning of their appointment the client will be billed for the contracted price as if the entirety of the session had occurred as scheduled.
