About Me

  • Madison Wallace, LPCC

I am the Owner of Life Crafters. My true passion is to empower individuals and identify their strengths so they can begin to craft the life they want. Nothing gives me more energy than helping individuals break down personal barriers. Whether it is negative self talk - anxiety- depression - trouble navigating emotions from major life changes - healing from traumatic life experiences - I am here to provide a safe environment and professional knowledge to encourage the healing process.

My journey started 10 years ago at Georgetown College, where I majored in psychology. This is where I started learning from a personal perspective that not all of us were taught from our parents the tools needed to handle life’s ups & downs and to cope with painful experiences. It is hard to navigate life but It is never too late to learn. The tools we help you learn at Life Crafters can help you with this self-improvement journey and no matter where you may be at in that journey, we’d be honored to help you take the next step.

I spent three years at the University of Kentucky achieving a MS in Counseling Psychology and an Ed.S. [Go Cats!] I began my career working in community mental health in Lexington KY, where I had an opportunity to work with individuals overcoming many different severe mental health disorders. During that time I had the privilege to work with some of the States’ largest and most noteworthy Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Centers and their clients. These experiences opened my eyes to the extreme prevalence of trauma among individuals in Kentucky and to the even more extreme difficulty that so many have in accessing quality treatment.

Like many, I would try to help my clients with older traditional therapies but saw that too often the results are slow and the healing process too exhausting for many to endure. It was hard for me to see people go through these processes because they would lose hope quickly from lack of tangible results. So, I started looking for something better and focused on Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Its combined approach of advanced therapeutic and physiological techniques has been shown to provide significant relief for people suffering from even the most significant trauma. This is one approach we utilize at Life Crafters because so many of my clients experienced quick and significant improvement in symptoms in 1-5 sessions, giving them a solid base to build on and faith in the healing process.

I founded Life Crafters to bring that industry-leading approach to the places and the people that I love the most. If you believe you could benefit from these approaches I encourage you to reach out to us today.
